RURAL in the Citi
...Art & Publishing Movement

                Publishing Program

Formed in 2012, Bochum - Limpopo,  Rural in The Citi (RITC) Art & Publishing Movement aims to advocate for rural artists of all kind of disciplines by creating platforms to show and sell their artwork in the cities through joint exhibition projects, therefore promoting rural development. RITC encourages rural artists to participate in matters that affect their surrounding through art, using these exhibitions as an opportunity to voice their views. The movement publishes and promotes literature in indigenous languages, and offers art workshops for children to support diverse interdisciplinary narratives of contemporary rural art and culture.
